About this event
Somatic Breathwork is a modality designed to manipulate the breath and help people release stress, tension and any dense energy that sticks with us from past experiences. When the emotional wave or impact of any event outweighs the capacity of our nervous system it can lead to unconscious unprocessed emotions and dense energy lodged in the body. This can manifest outwardly as stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression, tiredness, anger, low self esteem , sleeplessness, poor focus and a negative lifestyle.
During this Breathwork session you will be guided back to the power of your own breath . Your breath is one of the most powerful tools in your healing kit and the beautiful thing about your breath is that you are in control.
Safety comes first at Breathrevolution and due to the nature of this work there are some contraindications that will stop you from being able to participate in our sessions.
To insure your safety while taken part in a breathwork session we ask you please check the list below and make us aware if anything listed relates to you .
Cardiovascular disease , including angina or heart attack.
High blood pressure
Glaucoma
Retinal detachment
Osteoporosis
Significant recent physical injury’s or surgery
Severe Mental Illness
Major Medications
History of Seizures.
Currently taking any heavy medication that alters brain chemistry.
Pregnant women are advised against practicing breathwork and also advised to leave a healing period of 6 to 8 weeks postpartum.
Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their physician before practicing breathwork .
Any other medical , psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical or emotional release.
Please fast from food and caffeine for 4 hours up to the session 🙏
Loose or comfortable clothes are best . If you can please bring a blanket, cushion, bottle of water and some people like to bring a notepad and pen to write down any insights or stuff that may come in during the session
