Solstice: Light Beyond the Shadows

As winter settles in and the nights grow longer, Solstice: Light Beyond the Shadows offers a concert of contrasts: from darkness and shadow to bright, joyful celebrations. Presented by the Triangle Pride Band, this program moves through music that captures both the stillness of the holiday season and the energy that carries us through it. Featuring works by Alfred Reed, Ron Nelson, Danny Elfman, and more, it’s a holiday performance that celebrates the depth, warmth, and wonder of winter.

PARKING

• Parking is available in the Coliseum Parking Deck.
• Upper levels are FREE Monday - Friday after 5 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday.
• Accessible parking is available in the Jetter surface lot between the Coliseum parking deck and Reynolds Coliseum.

TICKETS

• Please have your digital ticket out and ready for our ushers at the theatre doors.
• All seating is general admission – you will choose your own seat at the theatre.
• If you require special accommodations, please email universitytheatre@ncsu.edu prior to arriving. Once you enter the lobby, check in with any usher (in a red vest) regarding accommodations requests.

PERFORMANCE

• Doors will open approximately at 6:30 p.m.
• Show will start at 7:00 p.m.
• We suggest you bring a light sweater to ensure a comfortable experience.
• University Theatre venues, exhibitions, and classes are accessible to people of all abilities. Accessible seating is available in all theaters, and assistive listening devices are available upon request. Please email universitytheatre@ncsu.edu requests and check in with an usher upon arrival.
