Solstice in the Cellar

Valley of the Moon Chamber Ensemble returns to Viansa Winery, inviting you into one of Sonoma’s most atmospheric spaces for an unforgettable holiday concert. Join us in the stone-lined barrel room, where the dazzling acoustics and soft lighting fills the air with a warm glow—even if the temperature stays delightfully brisk. (Festive sweaters encouraged!)

This year’s program blends timeless works with fresh, inventive arrangements: showcasing Biebl’s soaring Ave Maria and Gallus’s O Magnum Mysterium alongside sparkling versions of favorites Pat-A-Pan and Let It Snow!, a playful take on Jingle Bells and other childhood favorites, and a handful of unexpected gems, including an ode to the Solstice Moon.
