This captivating program showcases masterpieces by Liszt, Chopin, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Paderewski, alongside the jazz-infused brilliance of Gershwin and the expressive lyricism of Robert Helps. From tender nocturnes to fiery dances and dazzling showpieces, Solomon’s poetic touch and electrifying command bring each work vividly to life.
Praised for his “compelling artistry” and “powerful, poetic touch,” Solomon performs widely across the U.S. and Europe. His recent highlights include a national Rachmaninoff anniversary tour, debuting at the Newport Music Festival with Amit Peled, concerto appearances with the North Carolina Symphony, and performances for the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz. A prizewinner of major international competitions and a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and Peabody Conservatory, he continues to earn acclaim for performances that balance emotional depth with breathtaking technique.
