You mentioned circus performers; is there a show time?

Various performers will grace the poolside throughout the afternoon at various times. The event host does not guarantee specific performances nor specific times. We intend for guests to enjoy the pool, music and atmosphere on their own agenda, so there will not be a formal "show" at any time.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are non-tranferable and non-refundable.

Can I just show up without a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Entrance can be purchased at the door at $5 above the online ticket price, subject to limited capacity.

Can I bring my kids?

Accepted Answer

This event is friendly to all ages.  Kids admission tickets are discounted for age 12 and under.  Infants under 1 year are free (no ticket required).  Swim diapers are prohibited.  Hot tub is exclusively for those over 12 years of age. Adult supervision required for anyone under 18.

Can I bring my dog?

Only if you promise to take photos and post them/tag us on IG. :)  This event is pet-friendly.  Please note no pets are permitted in the pool or hot tub.

Can I leave and return later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, reentry is permitted.  There is a designated smoking area near the rear side of the parking lot, so if you need to take a break to smoke, you'll have to exit and re-enter.

Is there a lifeguard?

Accepted Answer

No.  No lifeguard is on-duty, so swimming is at your own risk. Please exercise caution.

Can I bring my own speaker/music?

Accepted Answer

We'll provide the tunes. No outside music or personal speakers/amplified sound.

Do you have bike storage?

Accepted Answer

The hotel has a bike rack in the parking lot near the pool deck (bike parking is at your own risk, bring your own lock).  The hotel also has a Bcycle bike dock, so Bcycle users can easily check-in/check-out e-bikes through the app.

Can I bring my own snacks, food or drinks?

Accepted Answer

The hotel offers food for purchase at the event.  The only food permitted at the event is food purchased directly from Hotel Paradox or Solaire Restaurant + Bar. No outside drinks. No outside food nor snacks.

What if it rains or the weather isn't great?

Accepted Answer

Good times and great music are in store REGARDLESS of the weather.  This event will not be cancelled due to rain/poor weather.  Solaire offers a large covered/heated patio and abundant indoor lounge area for those seeking climate control, so event will proceed rain or shine.

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

No refunds. If you need to cancel, notify julie.jimenez@hotelparadox.com with at least 72 hours advance notice before the event and you can defer your ticket to another eligible event of equal or lesser ticket value.

Is the pool heated?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the pool is heated.  There is also a hot tub for ages 13 and up.

Where can I change into my swim wear?

Accepted Answer

Restrooms are available in the hotel lobby or just off the pool deck.  If you prefer a private guest room and full shower/bathroom, stop by guest reception to check availability of the Locals Sunday hotel room discount rate.
