Software for Renewable Energy - Controls HW and SW in Microgrids
Date and time
Description
All,
Let's meet in April to discuss Microgrids!
Microgrid design and construction offers both some simplifications and also some complexities in comparison to renewable energy projects which require existing grid infrastructure.
In this meeting, we'll discuss the hardware and software implications of microgrid projects with Javier Ruiz of JKI Consulting (http://jki.net/). Javier and his team have built control systems for a few microgrid projects across the country and I'm really excited that we'll get to learn from him!
Dinner, drinks, discussion will be provided.
Please note that we'll be meeting on TUESDAY this go around, rather than Thursday. Also, the event is scheduled from 6-8pm rather than the 7-9pm timeframe we often target. These were some constraints of the venue we'll meet at. But I think the changes will be well worth it in order to hold a SWRE at Powerhouse!
