About this event

We believe "Soft Work" is the hardest work you can do. "Soft Work" is about men having the freedom to access our full humanity and live authentically from that space. It is tapping into the parts of yourself you had to cut off, hide, or disregard so you could ultimately survive. We are constantly being told how we should show up in this world and we are really hard ourselves. It can be alot of pressure. We internalize alot of shit. We all need connectiveness and we all came here to be ourselves but along the way the attempt is to strip that from us, to keep us however the limited people and systems in our lives want us to function, but that’s only part of the story. There’s more to life. You aren’t isolated. You work hard, we all do, and now it’s time to broaden the restrictiveness. Live how you want, within your values. Let's GO!!!!

Frequently asked questions

Who is the facilitator of this group?

Soft Work was founded by John Morgan a retired mental health provider. John has over 10 years experience in the mental health field, specifically within the demographics of boys and Men. He created the “Soft Work” principles from both his personal & professional experiences hoping to help Men.

What is “Soft Work”?

Creating space to be fully human. Feeling your feelings, addressing your core wounds, retrieving the parts of you that have been disconnected, shut down, cut off and/or limited; such as vulnerability, kindness, & love of self.

Why should I join this group?

You’ve been taught to survive, not to feel. This group is for the man carrying silent weight—unspoken pain, bottled emotions, and the pressure to hold it all together. Here, you’re not required to have answers, just the courage to show up. Healing starts when you stop hiding

What will I receive from this group?

You’ll receive the one thing most men never get: a space to be seen, heard, and understood. You’ll leave with community, emotional tools, and a renewed sense of self. Each session helps you unlearn old patterns and rebuild from the inside out.
