Soft Touch, Tender Tongue

Join us for Soft Touch, Tender Tongue, a collection of poetry readings exploring themes of tenderness, softness, and intimacy.

As part of Campervan Collective’s Carnival of Collabor-ART, we gladly share the performances of six invited poets and writers whose work gently holds space for vulnerability, care, and connection.

Following the readings, there will be an open-mic for any members of the audience to share their own words, thoughts, or feelings in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you come to speak, listen, or simply hold space, you're warmly welcome.

The Carnival of Collabor-ART (May 23-26) is a free public art event celebrating migration, equality, community and resistance through workshops, performances, and co-creation. Centring migrant voices, it challenges the UK’s immigration system, questions democracy, and builds community through joy, activism, and creativity—transforming a Hackney warehouse into a collective site of resistance and hope.
