Jack Colligan

Jack Colligan is Co-founder and Director of Fulcrum Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm based on Boston. A trusted advisor to private equity investors and corporate leadership teams, Fulcrum Consulting Group supports commercial due diligence and strategic growth planning initiatives throughout the business lifecycle. Jack’s experience spans more than 100 M&A due diligence and growth strategy engagements across a diverse set of industries including technology, healthcare, industrials, and consumer products and services. Jack studied Economics at Sewanee, The University of the South, and holds an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He is certified in Sustainability Reporting through the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

Samantha Fontaine

Samantha Fontaine is the Director of Technology for Social Impact at Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI). She is passionate about accessibility and leveraging technology to engineer a brighter future for society. She received her B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and her M.S. in engineering management from Tufts University. Over her career, she has held various roles in product marketing and engineering in precision and high speed technology groups, as well as led innovation programs out of the CTO office. In addition to her to role at ADI, Samantha has also been a member of the Grant Advisory Committee for the Analog Devices Foundation as well as held various leadership roles in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Environmental Committees.

Karla L. King, Esq., P.E., LEED AP

Ms. King, Executive Vice President of Sustainability and Resiliency at AEI Consultants, is both an environmental engineer and an attorney specializing in navigating sustainability and regulatory compliance to ensure business continuity and operational objectives. Ms. King is focusing on sustainable solutions with clients as they focus on Environment, Social, Governance (ESG), climate resiliency, and net zero objectives. Ms. King is working closely with AEI’s existing building assessment, capital planning, construction risk management, energy efficiency, industrial hygiene, environmental health & safety, zoning and permitting, renewable energy, and resilience consulting expertise to provide full-service sustainability services to clients. Ms. King holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University, a MS in Engineering Management from Tufts University, and a JD from Massachusetts School of Law. She is a Professional Engineer licensed in MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME, NY, and NC, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. Ms. King is on the ASTM International’s Task Group 62996 developing a Building Resiliency Standard within ASTM E06 Performance of Buildings. Ms. King is also on the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) Sustainability Initiative/ESG committee and Transparency subcommittee focused on evaluating and identifying key metrics and reporting standards for assessment of ESG risks and regulatory compliance.

Ariel Kraten

Ariel Kraten is a sustainability professional working with GoBlu International, a sustainability accelerator for the apparel industry that she co-founded in 2015. Ariel’s goal is to support the development of business and community leaders who make conscious decisions through the lens of environmental and social justice, and with respect for global interconnections.

Her career trajectory was influenced by her service in the Peace Corps, where she experienced water insecurity and the impact of rapid globalization while living in a small village in the Amazon rainforest.

She has spent more than a decade working with global apparel companies and manufacturers to create and implement strategies for more sustainable business practices, and to tell their stories in honest, compelling, and inspiring ways. Her work with companies spans topics including water and chemical use, climate change, human rights and labor conditions, circular business models, innovative materials, design strategies, technology in fashion, and more.

Ariel teaches Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Environmental Management at UEP and has taught her course #Outfitoftheday: Clothing, Sustainability, and the Global Implications of Getting Dressed several times through the ExCollege.

Scott Hilton has had a long career in technology, focused on telecommunications, security, Cloud-based services, and Software-as-a-Service. In his 30+ year career, he has been a product management, product strategy, and software development leader building world-class products and organizations for companies like Lucent, 3Com, Oracle and SAIC. In addition, he has helped start and scale multiple technology startups including SpringTide Networks (sold to Lucent) and Dyn (sold to Oracle). Scott is now an Angel Investor, Writer, and Instructor at Tufts Gordon Institute.
