The 2025 Southern California Regional Dissemination, Implementation and Improvement Science Symposium, the 6th in our series, will be held on Thursday September 4. The goal of this year’s Symposium is to strengthen our commitment and our skills in designing, conducting and following up on partnered projects that aim to improve health and quality of life through better health care delivery and public health. The Symposium will bring together leaders of regional health systems, public health & community agencies, researchers, clinicians & other health professionals, and community members & patients committed to effective partnerships to achieve improvement goals.
Symposium activities will include presentations, panel discussions, workshops, posters and small-group break-out sessions, including a new-for-2025 Impact Story session.
Please click the “Get tickets” registration link to the right for complimentary registration.
If you are interested in submitting an abstract please see the Symposium abstract submission page: Submit Your Abstract
Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. Some abstracts will be included in expert-led poster tours, and others will be invited to present in a new-for-2025 DII Impact Story session.
The DII Impact Story session will feature abstracts describing significant and sustained improvements in health and/or service delivery outcomes, economic or payment reforms, or policy change. The selected abstracts will be presented in a brief “lightning presentation” format followed by comments from a panel of key health system and public health leaders. Best poster awards will be announced at the conclusion of the Symposium as in previous years.
Please visit the UCLA Symposium site for further details as they are released: Southern California Regional Dissemination, Implementation and Improvement Science Symposium
