About the Solo Lab instructor:

Celeste M. Walker, hails from Philadelphia. She has an MFA in Acting from The Actor’s Studio Drama School at the New School University in New York. She is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio and a member of Actors Equity. She has appeared off Broadway and in theatres in New York City, New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley, California and Philadelphia.

Not only is Celeste an accomplished actor, she is also a pedagogy professional with more than thirty-five years of experience. Instructional expertise in a wide range of settings including traditional classroom, master classes, workshops, and private studies. She has extensive experience as a theatre producer, administrator, director, performer, organizer and Host for TEDx and has been an adjunct professor at multiple universities.

Her first solo show, MR. PARKER, INDULGENCES WITH DOROTHY was about the writer and Algonquin Roundtable member, Dorothy Parker. Her autobiographical solo show, “COLETTE RELOADED,” premiered at the 2016 Philly Fringe Festival, Philadelphia, PA and was part of The White Pines Productions Series in Philadelphia and The Selkie Theatre in Bethlehem. Her latest solo show, GHOSTED, had its World Premiere at United Solo Festival in New York City in April 2024, was featured at The Philadelphia Fringe Festival in September 2024, was performed at the Civic Theatre in Allentown, PA in November of 2024 at the Binge Fringe Festival at the Santa Monica Playhouse in March 2025 and at the Dickens Parlour Theatre in Ocean View Delaware.
