About The Event:
Whether you are transitioning from adults to pediatrics or are a new graduate, this seminar will cover strategies and tips you need to know in starting your school-based practice.
School-based occupational and physical therapists work with students, pre-k through 21 years of age, and help them achieve academic goals and participate in the school environment.
Occupational and physical therapists work with students throughout the school environment, engaging students in therapeutic activities and facilitating progress toward their IEP goals. To be most effective, therapists must be knowledgeable about common diagnoses, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with team members. This can be daunting, but with support and information gleaned from this presentation, a school-based setting position can be gratifying.
This 3-hour seminar is designed to help therapists transition to the school-based setting.
After this course, you will receive a link to complete a 10-question quiz and course evaluation.
