On November 6th, Americans will go to polls for what promises to be one of the most consequential elections in modern history. There is so much at stake— economic uncertainty, ongoing immigrant family separation crisis, unbridled racism and violent actions of white supremacist groups, rescinding civil rights in education, the massive disparity in CEO and worker wages, and a growing distrust of the media. Who is selected to lead and govern and address these challenges will have a direct impact on our daily lives.

Join the Women's Equity Center and Action Network (WE CAN) to learn more about the outcomes of the election cycle where 33 U.S. Senators, 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 39 Governors nationwide, and 32 cities and Washington, DC and what can do to ensure that those elected to serve us will do so with our needs and interests in mind.

At the briefing, you can expect a robust dialogue with leaders of two organizations on the front lines of movement building and public affairs who will provide an insider’s view on the election and offer guidance on how to mobilize and advance a responsive policy agenda for women of color.
