So, What Do We Need Now?
Overview
Back in March, during Women’s History Month, we gathered for a powerful forum titled “We All Gon’ Be There?” Through it, Black women business owners came together to name what we were feeling, seeing, and fearing in this rapidly changing country. We talked about the rollback of civil rights protections, the shrinking of DEI commitments, and the shifting landscape for Black women founders. That session became more than a conversation; it was a safe space, a healing space, and a reminder that even when the systems shift, we still have each other.
You asked us to keep gathering. And we heard you.
As 2025 comes to a close with over 300,000 Black women having loss jobs, increasing political uncertainty, economic shifts, and continued impacts on our communities and businesses — we’re coming together again to ask a new question:
So, What Do We Need Now?
This gathering is part roundtable, part design lab and 100% intentional space for Black women entrepreneurs to:
- Reflect on what this year has meant for us and our work
- Identify our most pressing needs as individuals and as a collective
- Explore ways we can design solutions together for the road ahead
This isn’t a panel or a pitch. It’s a working circle rooted in discovery, dialogue, and possibility with a commitment from She's WELL Networked to be responsive to the needs in our programming.
Come ready to share, listen, dream, and build together.
