Snow Plow Operations
Overview
This half-day workshop will focus on the winter storm, snow, and sanding/salting truck driver responsibilities, with emphasis on winter preparations, identification of road hazards, defensive driving, plowing operations, casting of snow, sleep deprivation, how salt works, material spreader calibration, and post-storm work and cleanup. This is a classroom based training only.
Who Should Attend: Snow Plow Drivers, and any other Employees and Supervisors involved in and/or responsible for Winter Storm Operations.

Registration Information:
- Available to Members of The Trust's Property/Liability and/or Workers' Compensation Programs.
- Advance registration is required.
- Registration is limited to 4 employees per Member. If you have additional employees you would like added to our wait list, please let us know.
- Registration Deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025.
- There will be a $50 "No Show" fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
