Snip 'n' Sip - Open House

Our Open Houses always include the following elements:

• meet like-minded language learners
• share your language-learning journey and/or future goals
• learn about our current and upcoming classes in 8+ languages
• have some snacks and a beverage (that's the sip part!)
• learn a few words in a new language (this time it's Spanish)
• enjoy a cultural immersion experience

It's Hispanic Heritage Month!

For this open house, materials will be provided to create a papel picado (the snip part!) mini-banner to prepare for el dia de los muertos. See the images below. And, if you like this idea, you will love our October 29, 5-7 pm event where you can make more papel picado, contribute to the "ofrenda" and leave with a self-decorated calavera de azucar/sugar skull!
