Snaps & Taps : Performing Environmental Justice
South African singer-songwriter Zolani Mahola leads an evening of songs and stories as she shares her own music and invites performances by area musicians and poets on the theme of environmental justice.This event is a special edition of Snaps & Taps, a monthly open mic series at the Community Folk Art Center for spoken word artists, singers, and musicians with the mission of cultivating community and promoting literary arts for all.
The evening will be hosted by Syracuse-based spoken-word artist, Ricky “Randum” Maeweather in collaboration with Envioremntal Storytelling CNY and the Hendricks Chapel Malmgren Concert Series.
