Join us for an unforgettable summer gathering on the Stillwater River! Smoke on the Water is a riverside celebration of music, food, and community - hosted by The Stillwater River Lodge and Khrys Blank.

LAKE OPTION (On-site Paddle):
Right next door to the German Club Edelweiss is the beautiful Dr. Michael Bowers Lake. Taiter's Kayaks will be offering 30-minute lake paddles for just $10 — no shuttle needed, just walk over and enjoy the water!
RIVER OPTION (Shuttle to boat launch and end at the Venue):
Start your experience with a scenic 40-minute paddle down the Stillwater River, beginning at Englewood Dam and ending at Dr. Michael Bowers Lake.
- Shuttle rides to the Dam will run at 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM.
- Kayaks available for rent: $20.
- Shuttle meets at & departs from the German Club.
Bringing Your Own Kayak?
You're welcome to launch from Englewood Dam between 1:30–2:30 PM.
We'll provide a one-person shuttle ride back to your vehicle — just be sure to reserve your spot using the link below.

🍖 Slow Smoked Brisket by Beer Money Barbeque
Sink your teeth into Pit Master Tim Spoores's legendary smoked brisket served riverside after the paddle, just in time for the music to start flowing.
There will be a full Texas-style BBQ spread with various sides like mac n' cheese, slaw, potato salad and watermelon. For the kids there will be hot dogs along with other snacks.

The suggested $40 donation includes a plate of BBQ, 2 beverage tickets, live music from 3 bands and an activity zone for the kiddos.

Yes, there will be hot dogs and chips for a kids option. Also Smoked Brisket, Mac n' Cheese, Broccoli Slaw, Potato Salad, Sour Dough Rollls and Dessert
No, you're welcome to bypass the paddle portion of the event. Please come straight to the venue no earlier than 1:30pm.

Onsite kayak rental will be provided by Taiters Kayak for $20. Please come directly to the German Club, where you will park, register and be shuttled to the drop-in at the Englewood Dam. There will be multiple trips running throughout the event at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.
ABSOLUTELY! This is a family-friendly event. You are responsible for your own children.
If you are not paddling or if you do not have your own kayak and want to paddle, park at the German Club. If you are bringing your own kayak, park and drop in at the Englewood Dam at 1:30pm and Taiters will shuttle you to your vehicle after your paddle.
The event will be cancelled as a result of inclement weather and tickets will be refunded. The event may be rescheduled for a later date.
A cooler with beverages of your choice. We will provide up to 2 beverages for each person. A bicycle, the venue is right next to an awesome bike trail that will be fun to enjoy between music sets! A comfy chair, because we all love comfort. Kids will probably need a dry set of clothes.
