The SMECluster Network Team invites you to join our 2025 AGM!

We are looking forward to discussing opportunities for collaborative research projects and sharing our industry insights from across the UK.

The recent rise of AI-driven tools for manufacturing and production have raised both excitement and concerns in the sector – particularly around the application of AI in industry and the sovereignty of the data we inject into these systems. The focus of this event will be on how we cut through the noise and tackle the use of AI in our manufacturing businesses by leveraging value, rather than simply becoming dependant on these vast data resources. As the UK lurches forward with its Manufacturing-X agenda, what lessons can we learn from Europe and our data allies about safe dataspaces, who is using them and where?

Join us for our Network AGM where we will explore this topic and hear from experts in Europe on best practice and national initiatives to support this growing trend in industry.

Members can register to join us in person at The MTC , all other delegates can participate online for this hybrid event.

Joining us at the MTC?

We will be located in the Issigonis Room which has limited seating, so please make sure you register your places well in advance. We will prioritise requests for in person tickets for our Members - you will have an email to confirm your place.

All visitors will need to bring with them valid ID, that is UK Driving Licence or passport, physical document and not a photo. No ID then no entry, unfortunately. We will need your full name and country of birth as part of your registration.

There will be an opportunity to visit the Manufacturing Showcase and see some of the research projects.
