We'll introduce you to Brainspotting, a powerful therapeutic method that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Together, we'll explore what Brainspotting is, how it works, and why it's gaining attention as a transformative tool for emotional healing. Attendees will also get a chance to experience a live demonstration, hear real-life success stories, and learn how this method can be especially helpful for families navigating early childhood challenges.

About the presenters

Rachel Chavez, LCSW, PPS is a psychotherapist, licensed clinical social worker and supervisor, idependently licensed in the state of California (LCSW 90756). Rachel holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Social Work. She has been practicing psychotherapy for the past 12 years, having worked in settings including County Behavioral Health, the schools and private practice. She specializes in treating complex trauma, providing clinical supervision to developing therapists and providing evaluations to support immigration processes. Rachel loves working with children and families, teens and young adults, member of the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants and their descendants, first responders and survivors of trauma. She is especially honored to bring healing to people of all ages with the innovative Brainspotting therapeutic approach.

Amber Lee, ASW is an experienced psychotherapist with over 12 years in the counseling field, specializing in work with individuals, families, and couples across diverse therapeutic needs. In addition to her psychotherapy practice, she services as a Senior Social Worker in Shasta County Adoptions, where she supports children and families through complex adoption processes.

Throughout her career, Amber Lee has developed a particular expertise in working with children who are behaviorally challenged, often with significant trauma histories. Her compassionate, trauma-informed approach helps individuals navigate their healing journey in a safe and empowering environment.

As a Brainspotting practitioner, Amber Lee incorporates this powerful, cutting-edge therapy into her practice, offering clients an innovative approach to healing and emotional growth. Her commitment to professional development and client well-being ensures that she remains at the forefront of best practices in mental health care.
