Small Groups That Work
Overview
A Four Session Seminar via ZOOM
March 5, 12, 19 & 26 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
An effective small group ministry is essential to the health and growth of any church. Discipleship, interpersonal ministry, evangelism, and relationship building all happen best in the context of a smaller group than in a Sunday morning church service. Jesus knew this—and that is why most of his time was spent focusing on twelve men who would, in turn, change the world.
Doing small-group ministry well in your church is vital—and not easily accomplished. It can be done well and can be a powerful dynamic in your church.
Our seminar will cover:
· The New Testament mandate for small group ministry
· Implementing small group ministry in your church
· How to train and multiply leaders
· How to integrate life-application discipleship in your groups
· Key to successful groups
· Overcoming problems
· How to format your groups for effectiveness
OUR PRESENTER is Rev. Dr. Tom Johnston, Executive Director of Praxis and a pastor and church planter with more than 4 decades of experience using small groups in local churches.
