Experience the Joy of Pottery: No Prior Knowledge Required
Discover this timeless art form with no experience necessary! Whether you want to enjoy this activity solo or share it with a friend, I will guide you through the entire process and provide all the materials and tools needed to explore the pottery wheel.
What to Expect
- We will prepare several balls of clay and begin throwing on the pottery wheel.
- I offer as much guidance and assistance as you need, allowing you to create at your own pace.
- Feel free to make as many pieces as time permits during our session.
- At the end, you can choose your favorite piece to be fired and glazed.
After the Session
- Your creations will be fully dried, fired, and finished with your choice of glaze, resulting in functional pieces of art.
- Additional pieces can be fired and glazed for $15 each.
- Finished products will be available within six weeks, and you'll receive an email with the completion date.
Important Notes:
- Please wait at least six weeks after the session before inquiring about specific pieces.
- Fired work will remain in the studio for six weeks before being donated.
- Shipping arrangements can be made starting from $25.
- Please note that pieces are not guaranteed and may be damaged at various stages of the process; no compensation will be offered in such cases.
What to Bring
- All necessary tools and supplies will be provided.
- Wear clothes and shoes that can get messy, and consider leaving jewelry such as rings, bracelets, and watches at home.
- You may bring your own beverages

This workshop takes place in the Coastal Community of San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, inside Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles. Adewole Arts is located in a beautifully restored 1940s Warehouse 10, where the exterior is adorned with vibrant artwork, and the interior showcases this timeless structure.
