Learning to plan the flat portion that leads to SLUMPING it! Fun for 8yrs old and up.
In this 2 hour class, our artist instructors guide you thru the design process, the glass prep, of cutting, nipping, edging, layout, proper portions, and even in this info, allow you to create and plan for a shallow vessel. This 2 stage planning and final process requires more designing and planning for color placement ..You decide in-studio which one you want to create..and we help you get to the end of your introductory fusing/slumping project.
Attention Students: Fee for exceeding time beyond 2hrs
All Classes are 2 hrs long. When planning your design, please consider what is achievable within that time constraint.
If you exceed that 2 hr of scheduled instruction-there will be a flat $40.00 studio time fee per hour, to be paid immediately to continue creating your piece.
No partial hours for payment are possible.
Instructors are not permitted to finish your piece on your behalf.
Announcements by the instructor are made during the sessions to let you know how close you are to the end of your 2 hr class.
The classes are small and comfy. Attire is casual. However you are learning to cut and edge fusible glass.

The following are the policies regarding cancelling a reservation:
If You Have Booked Class Time Through EventBrite or the Studio:
-100% Refund with 7 or more days’ notice of the ticket value - no EventBrite processing fee will be refunded.
- 0% refunded with 6 or fewer days’ notice.
Private Lesson
- 0% refunded/No cancellations.
At Indy Fused Glass, LLC - you can call and book the studio for your private event.
12 people or more for a private session.
(if you decide in studio to leave your project flat-no refunds will be issued. This session is specifically taught to go through 2 HOT cycles through the kilns)
