SLAY THE SYSTEM: Power in Pride is an opportunity for QTBIPOC leaders and community to gather, demystify civic action, encourage more accessible actions, provide opportunities for connection, and get informed on local organizations and priority actions.
This event was made possible by URGE's Texas Community Action Network Grant. We believe that we are stronger when we are informed, standing together, and continually engaged with community actions. Join us for an evening of workshops, markets, and community.

ABOUT COLORS OF PRIDE GATHERINGS
Colors of Pride Gatherings (COPG) is a groundbreaking celebration centering LGBTQIA+ people of color (QTBIPOC) in Central Texas. This annual event honors the diverse cultural traditions, heritages, and contributions of Black, Latinx, Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI), Indigenous, and multiracial LGBTQIA+ communities. More than just a festival, these Gatherings are a community empowerment program: they foster resilience, healing, and solidarity across lines of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality.
We host Colors of Pride Gatherings to amplify the prophetic voices of QTPOC leaders in LGBTQIA+ and racial justice movements, and build lasting networks of love and support in the face of multiple oppressions.
