Skull Identification

Could you tell a carnivore from a herbivore by looking at its skeletal features? On Sunday, October 5th, the Bond Lake Nature Center will have on display from 1PM -3PM a variety of skulls where the differences in carnivorous predatory animal features, like jaw structure, teeth, and eye placement, can be compared to those of grass eating animals.

Come join us at the Nature Center at Clyde L. Burmaster (Bond Lake) Park for a fascinating event all about skull identification! Get up close and personal with various animal skulls as we learn about the different features that help us identify them. This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts, aspiring biologists, or anyone curious about the world around us. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and have some fun!

We will meet in the Nature Center in the rear of the Warming House (main building).
