How to get to the venue?

The venue is easily accessible by public transit. LRT: The nearest station is Corona Station, just a short walk away. Bus: A bus stop is located approximately 3 minutes from the venue.

Is parking available?

Paid street parking is available near the venue. Please follow all posted parking signs and the City of Edmonton’s parking rules.

What are the eligibility requirements for the program?

18 years of age or older, Unemployed or Underemployed, EI Eligible, A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee and legally entitled to work in Canada, Minimum Grade 10 Education, CLB Level 6

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your latest resume and a government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, PR card, etc.)

Are Work Permit holders eligible to attend?

Unfortunately, as this is a government-funded program, we are currently unable to accept applicants on work permits. We appreciate your interest and encourage you to check back for future opportunities.

What are the safety tickets offered during the program?

First Aid, Lift Truck, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Attending Worker, Fire Watch, Hazard Assessment & Control, CSTS, WHMIS, Mobile Elevated Platform

What are the skills offered during the program?

Pipefitting, Welding, Carpentry, Scaffolding, Millwright, Electrical

How long is the program?

The intake starts on July 21, 2025. The program runs for 15 weeks, and it is mandatory to attend the full duration. Classes are held Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
