Sketching Scarecrows

Whether you are complete beginner or an emerging watercolourist, this guided workshop provides a welcoming and supportive place to learn about sketching with watercolours. Hosted in the Activity Room at the Tett, sketching scarecrows are the perfect opportunity to pick up a brush for the first time, expand your artistic horizons, or just try something new in a positive environment. There will be step by step instruction, but also plenty of time to experiment and seek extra help. Although participants are welcome to bring their own materials, all materials will be provided.

The workshop will be guided by Alex Lowe. Alex is a book illustrator and experienced art instructor with a passion for storytelling and helping others discover their own creativity.
