Join GNSI-NW for a marine life sketching day at Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Draw, learn, and connect with fellow nature artists!
Join the guild for a day drawing at the Port Townsend Marine Science Center! This special session will focus on the fascinating forms and textures of local marine invertebrates with a presentation, demo, and guidance from staff member and artist Carolyn Woods. Bring your own sketching materials.
Tickets are $15 per person and a portion of the proceeds support the marine science center. Non-members are welcome.
Event Schedule:
- 10:00–11:00 AM: Talk & Demonstration with artist Carolyn Woods
- 11:00 AM–12:00 PM: Independent Sketching in the Museum Exhibit
- 12:00–12:30 PM: Lunch Break. Bring your own lunch or explore local options
- 12:30–2:00 PM: Sketching in the Aquarium Classroom
