Sketching Alameda + Afternoon Tea

On this autumn Saturday afternoon, we will stroll through this walkable neighborhood, sketching on location, and sharing our artworks and stories over a cozy afternoon tea. With just a few simple art materials and open hearts, we will capture these fleeting moments in the sketches. There is always beauty to be discovered and encountered in everyday life.

It is only because this place is where my son is being raised, as it is his childhood hometown, that each walk we take together in this place becomes meaningful. I know that he and I, together, will look back and see our memories through my artwork, which I have depicted. That is the whole meaning for I spent some of my energy and time sketching Alameda.
