WARM UP
We will begin with a series of quick warm-up sketches to loosen up and prepare our eyes and hands for longer drawing sessions. Students will complete two 2-minute sketches, two 5-minute sketches, and one 10-minute sketch. Each timed drawing will be done from a different angle to encourage observation, accuracy, and confidence in mark-making.
1 Hour Drawing of Henry
Participants will select their own positions on the second floor to sketch Henry and the surrounding environment. This extended session allows each artist to work at their own pace and skill level, focusing on composition, proportions, shading, and capturing the character of the scene. This is an opportunity to slow down and build a more detailed, thoughtful drawing
Peer review
Students will gather to share their work, discuss their process, and offer supportive feedback to one another. The goal of this peer review is to build confidence, identify strengths, and learn new techniques through open, constructive conversation. This session helps artists grow by reflecting on their work and observing the approaches of others.
