The practice of nature journaling or habitat sketching includes recording of location, date, time, weather, other observations along wtih simple sketches of coastal wildflowers, shorebirds, seascapes, local gardens or other images the artist would like to capture. While beachcombing, observe shells, seaweed, rosa rugosa, goldenrod, seaside pea, egrets, great blue heron, seagulls and driftwood.

Bring your own beachcomb pieces and photos or use the workshop provided collection to create your first journal pages.
