  • Hear from a panel of experts about their own lived experience, ways they have implemented a Size-Inclusive Approach to their care, and the outcomes of this practice.

Background:

Applying a Size-Inclusive Approach to health promotion initiatives aims to create a culture and environment that supports all people to optimise their health and wellbeing. It creates space for authentic change to effectively shift the systems that hold weight stigma in place.

Join a panel of experts in discussing the size inclusive principles and how you can help implement them into your everyday practice. The forum will also highlight the current context across a wide array of health contexts; ranging from psychologists, dietitians, and people with lived experience.

You will gain from this forum:

  • Enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence in applying a size-inclusive approach to your practice as a health promotion practitioner; and,
  • Hear from a panel of experts about their own lived experience, ways they have implemented a Size-Inclusive Approach to their care, and the outcomes of this practice.
