Sip, Savor, & Discover: An Evening with the Curator

The Zeeland Historical Society invites the community to a special evening at the Dekker Huis Museum on Thursday, June 27, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. to celebrate the debut of its newest exhibition, Foundations: A Journey Through Our Built Environment. “Sip, Savor, and Discover: An Evening with the Curator” will offer guests a thoughtful evening of reflection, conversation, and exploration focused on Zeeland’s growth through infrastructure, planning, and development.

Guests will enjoy a delectable spread of heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and wine as they explore the new exhibit, which traces Zeeland’s built environment from early log cabins to today’s modern landmarks. Exhibit curator Audrey Rojo will share behind-the-scenes insight into the stories, research, and local heritage that shaped the exhibit. Curator remarks will begin around 6:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Guests will have the opportunity to support the exhibit through a small silent auction or by making a contribution—helping to preserve and interpret Zeeland’s rich history for generations to come.
