Wine is meant to be drunk with food, but how do you decide which bottle will make the perfect pairing? Join us as we explore wine's relationship to food and how to pair wine with dinner, confidently! We'll discuss what wine to choose in a restaurant to best enhance your meal, how to pick wine for dinner with friends, and what to pair with your Friday night pizza.

We'll taste through several different styles of wine and pair them with light snacks to see how wines magically transform alongside food!

Please note: Must be 21+ to attend.

About the instructors:

Aubrey Stout is a wine professional who has called Chattanooga home for nearly a decade. She was the wine buyer for Imbibe Wine & Spirits for many years before becoming a wine rep for a small distributor of low-intervention wines, 100% Italiano. When she's not out slinging natural wine to the bars & wine shops of Chattanooga, or planning her next wine trip to France or Italy, she's on her porch with her cats and -- what else! -- a glass of wine.

Connie Millsaps is a wine professional with 9 years of experience in the industry ranging from retail, wine sales, to wine program management. Her initial training emphasized small production wineries and often lesser known varieties. This unique background has resulted in a focus on connecting consumers to these lesser known wines that often deliver higher value at any given price point. She is currently working as the Wine Director at Wooden City Chattanooga, and has worked to build a list that reflects these values.
