Now it’s your turn to pour! With Jen’s step-by-step guidance, you’ll create your very own ocean-inspired serving tray using vibrant resin pigments and hands-on tools.

Unleash your inner artist at Seattle’s favorite Pour & Sip night at Slip Gallery!

Join Jen Albright of Rusted Element Design for a relaxing and fun-filled evening at Slip Gallery in Belltown. In this beginner-friendly resin art class, you’ll create a stunning ocean-inspired serving tray while sipping on wine, cider, light beer, or non-alcoholic options. It's the perfect midweek reset or girls' night out!

You’ll learn how to:

Mix and tint epoxy resin
Pour stunning ocean waves with cells and lacing
Use heat guns and torches for movement and depth
Use leftover resin to make a matching coaster using a silicone mold

All supplies are provided—just bring your creative spirit (and snacks if you’d like!). While Jen will demo using vibrant ocean blues, you’ll have access to a wide range of resin pigment colors to make your tray completely your own. Whether you’re drawn to coastal tones or want to experiment with bold, moody hues—you’ll have options!

What to wear: This is a hands-on class, so wear clothes that can handle a little artful mess.

Important Notes:

Ages 21+ only (alcohol will be served)
Max class size: 12 students
Projects cure overnight. You’ll pick up your finished tray and coaster later in the week.
The resin used is VOC-free (fume-free), BPA-free, and food-safe once cured.

Frequently asked questions

If I can't come back to pick-up my finished cutting board, how will I get it?

If you are unable to come back to pick-up your finished Ocean Tray on the designated day and time, there will be a shipping option for $10. Any trays that are not picked up or had shipped will be donated.

Where should I park?

Street Parking. The Belltown neighborhood is a busy one. Please give yourself plenty of time to find parking in the surrounding area. There is no parking lot for Slip Gallery.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing clothes that can get messy.
