Join us for a friendly, laid-back craft & color meetup hosted by Room for Calm, your local small business offering simple creative hobbies to soothe stress and anxiety. This is your chance to unwind, meet new friends, and get creative in a lively beer garden setting with delicious brews and bites from Headlands Brewery – an easily Bartable destination!

Event Details:

🗓️ When: Saturday, October 18, 11:30am-1:30pm(feel free to stay longer to enjoy the sunshine, food/drinks, and friendship)

📍 Where: Headlands Brewery in Walnut Creek

👥 Who: All are welcome (age 21+)

💲 Registration: $10 in advance / $15 drop-in (space not guaranteed for drop-ins so get your tickets ASAP!)

What to Expect:

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

You’re welcome to bring your own craft or art project, but you don't have to! We’ll have plenty of supplies and options for you to try something new – like coloring pages with markers and gel pens, knitting/crochet practice materials, and discounted cross stitch kits for purchase.

Can I drop in without registering in advance?

You can pay $15 at the event table if there’s still space available. However, spots are limited, so we recommend registering in advance to guarantee your spot and save money.

Can I buy food and drinks at the event?

Yes! A wide selection of food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) is available from the brewery. Please support our wonderful hosts by ordering a drink or two and a snack if you're hungry during our time together!

Is this event beginner-friendly?

Absolutely! No prior arts or crafts experience is needed. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned crafter, if you're looking for some relaxing creative time you’ll find something fun to do and a friendly group to join.

Where do I park?

Bart parking at the Pleasant/Hill Contra Costa is free on weekends, or Headlands Brewery validates for one free hour at the parking garage next to the building. There is also 2-hour street parking available.

Can I arrive late or leave early?

You’re welcome to join us anytime during the event or leave whenever you need to. However, we encourage you to come right at the beginning to settle in, meet new friends, and get the most out of our crafty time together.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! Get 20% off your tickets when you buy them together. Coming alone? No problem – this event is designed to be a welcoming space for newcomers and a good way to meet new friends with similar interests.

Is there an age requirement?
