What should I expect?

The first half of the workshop will be dedicated to building a custom plant hanger. Then during the second half you'll have the opportunity to get creative and decorate your terracotta planter. We will be on hand to offer any help and guidance you may require.

How long will the workshop take?

The first 30-45 mins of the workshop will be dedicated to building the plant hanger. The remainder of the workshop will be self-guided time to paint a custom planter. It may not take you the full 2 hours, depending on how elaborate of the design you choose to paint.

Can two people share one ticket?

Unfortunately this event is ticketed per person, not per craft, so everyone attending must have a ticket. This is because space is limited in our venues and we need to be able to sell tickets for every seat we have available. Thank you for understanding.

Will there be free drinks?

No. However, drinks and food will be available to purchase from Oak Hill Social.

Who can participate?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to be an artist to participate! This event is beginner friendly and is open to everyone. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm! However it does involve some crafting and painting that may not be appropriate for younger children.

When should I plan on arriving to the event?

Please plan on arriving 15 mins prior to the start of the workshop. This will allow you enough time to order drinks and get settled.

What happens if I'm late?

This is a guided class, so we do ask that everyone arrives 15 mins prior to start time. We will begin the workshop at the scheduled time, and the first portion of the workshop involves hands-on instruction so it's important that you're not late.

Question 8

I purchased a ticket but I'm no longer able to attend. What should I do?

If you cannot attend class, you must contact us BEFORE the class, and we will work with you to reschedule or refund your ticket. You must email us before 5 PM the day before your scheduled workshop. Please get in touch with arts&craft directly, not the host venu.
