Class Description: One of the most challenging aspects of learning a song on guitar can be figuring out how to sing and play simultaneously, but there are methods that can make this mystifying process much clearer. In this two-day workshop we'll take a popular, simple song that uses open chords and solidify strumming, then add in vocals. The tricks we use can be applied to any song, including your own! Some knowledge of common open chords (C, F, Am, G, etc.) is suggested. All voices are welcome! There's no need to be the most confident singer, just a willingness to try. We may also have some opportunity to workshop individual songs at the end.
