We will give the same session three-time throughout the day at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00.

Each session composes of one hour of coding and half hour of Q&A and free hacking the disco platform.

In the code-lab

After completing the installation process for Dis.co, we will write and run a full-blown Python image processing application, scaling it using Dis.co. Each participant will have time to experiment with the Dis.co platform, learning how to run compute-intensive jobs and parallelize them with ease.

Members of the Dis.co team will be available for questions and discussion. Participants are also able to sign up for a free trial of Dis.co and receive 500 hours of free compute. That’s right...free compute for each participant!

What you will need for the code lab:

• A laptop
  

• Docker installed on your Mac, Windows10 or Linux (Ubuntu, CentOs or other) system

• Your favorite Python development environment

• Python 3.x (3.7 preferred)
