The Silver Strings Dulcimer Society plays traditional old-time string band music on acoustic instruments-featuring the hammered dulcimer. Stop by the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center any time between 12 PM - 3 PM and listen to them jam.

There are restrooms that can be accessed from inside the Visitor Center as well as on the outside of the Visitor Center.

There is a drinking fountain in the Visitor Center and bottles of non-alcoholic beverages that can be purchased from the Nature Store in the Visitor Center.
