To enable role holders to deliver the responsibilities of the Council Silver role in line with the LLA standardised arrangements

· Describe the role, and have confidence implementing the responsibilities of Council Silver

· Understand how Council Silver fits into the broader Local Authority and Multi-Agency command structures

· Explain the importance of logging, and the key aspects of recording decisions and actions

· Appreciate how situational awareness and good information management can contribute to an effective response

· Understand how to develop and implement a tactical plan that aligns to the strategy set by council gold.
