Silent Book Club – Durham

Join us for an evening of literary camaraderie at DSSOLVR’s Durham taproom! Weekly on Thursdays, starting @ 6:30 pm, the @SilentBookClub convenes to celebrate the joy of reading with fellow book lovers. $8 cocktails and $6 shots all day long!

Come read and mingle with new, bookish friends! Bring whatever book you happen to be reading, read in companionable silence (for about an hour), then share about it with your table mates.

Schedule:

- Meet and chat until 6:30 - 7:00

- Silent reading 7:00 - 8:00

- Chat about reading 8:00 - ???

Forget your book? DSSOLVR has a community bookshelf in their taproom you can grab one from! Have some books you want to get rid of? Leave a few on the community bookshelf for other readers to enjoy!

Wi-Fi - Free guest Wi-Fi available.
Menu - Menu has rotating options of beer, liquor/cocktails, cider, Gluten free beers, hard ginger beer, Jell-O shots, and extensive non-alcoholic offerings!TVs - 4 TVs - request to put on any game or show!
Dogs - Dog Friendly inside taproom & outside on covered patio (we have toys, beds, & water bowls!)
Family - Family friendly w/ high chair, changing table, and sensory toys for kids.
Games - Free to play board games, N64, NES, and arcade games
Food - Snacks & cup of noodles available on site. Several food delivery & carry out options available within a 2 block radius.
Parking - Standard downtown parking options available. Street parking all around (free after 7 pm and on Sat/Sun. Free gravel parking lot next to Welcome tattoo. Free parking along residential streets back towards Durty Bull. Paid parking lots in Liberty Apartment building and next to Geer House Apartments.
