Welcome to the Alaska SILENT BOOK CLUB in Juneau! Join us for a cozy reading session at the Mendenhall Valley Public Library. Bring your favorite book, grab a seat, and enjoy some quiet reading time with fellow book lovers. No assigned readings or discussions, just pure reading bliss. Don't miss this opportunity to unwind and immerse yourself in a good book in a peaceful setting.

Schedule

- 2:30 - Socialize, settle in, grab a read

- 3:00 - Silent reading

-4:00 - Silent hour’s over—stay and read, mingle and chat, or slip out peacefully. Your choice!

Kindly bring your current read, or not. The library is your oyster: peruse from a myriad of available reads on the racks. No library card? No worries! You can sign-up at the event and/or enjoy reading from a table of shared selected reads curated especially by our Juneau librarians.
