Yes, you can! Please bring your volunteer hours sheet for a Conservancy staff member to sign. If you need a Conservancy volunteer hours sheet, email information@escondidocreek.org.

What is Shrub Club?

Shrub Club is the Escondido Creek Conservancy's monthly volunteer opportunity from September-May. Shrub Club is typical on the 2nd Saturday of each month, but it varies on occasion. Shrub Clubs always take place on land owned or managed by the Escondido Creek Conservancy.

What will we be doing at Shrub Club?

The activity for each Shrub Club varies by month. We either do habitat restoration activities like planting native species or removing invasives. Or, we clean up litter in sensitive habitat areas. Volunteer work can be labor intensive but everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace.

What should I wear for Shrub Club?

We recommend that you wear long-sleeves, long-pants, good hiking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a water bottle too!

Can my child/ student attend Shrub Club?

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for Shrub Clubs.
