The Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer IN-PERSON event brings together cancer patients, survivors and supporters to share their stories, be inspired and supported by others in a safe space. The theme for this year's event is "Education & Inspiration for Healing, Hope & Resilience." The event is run by the 501c3 nonprofit organization.

This is the fourth annual in-person event in connection with the weekly livestreamed show Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer found on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & YouTube.

The schedule includes:

The event takes place on Friday, Oct. 3 (Arrive at 3 pm or after), Saturday, Oct. 4 (10 am to 4 pm) and Sunday, Oct. 5 (10 am to 3 pm) in New York City. The official program starts on Saturday at 10 am. There will be an unofficial meetup up Friday night.

Tim Sohn is a resilient 18-year chronic myeloid leukemia warrior. He has an unwavering commitment to support cancer patients, survivors and supporters worldwide. As the host of the groundbreaking weekly livestreamed show, Showing Up: Perspectives On Cancer, Tim created a safe space where individuals can share their stories, connect with others, and discover empowering resources that foster healing, hope and resilience.

Tim's exceptional contributions to cancer advocacy have been recognized by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and he was honored with the Mission award in 2022. As part of his Man & Woman of the Year campaign, Tim organized a 24-hour livestream fundraiser facilitated by his volunteer team and 14 livestreamers from Alaska to the UK.

With unwavering determination, Tim launched the first-ever Showing Up event in Pennsylvania in the United States in November 2022. This groundbreaking in-person gathering IS a testament to his commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer, even in person.
