Short-Term Suspensions – What’s in your policy?

Love Our Children NC believes School Board policies should not be based on a School District’s current level of staffing, resources, staff development, or funding. Policies should be based on what’s best for all children to learn and thrive. Join us as we do a deep dive into short-term suspension policies. We will identify words and phrases that make sense for older students, but not 4, 5, 6, or 7-year-olds. Then we'll develop language that ensures every child receives the help and support they need.
