Welcome to Shinnenkai 2026!
Come join us for a fun-filled weeked of training at Bujinkan Kakure Yama Dojo to celebrate the new year and kick off 2026 with a bang! Join senior instructors from around the region as we explore the martial art as relayed by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi and the senior shihan.
Training will alter between focused sessions with individual instructors as well and a round robin format, so be ready for anything and bring all your gear! Individual focussed sessions will be led by several Daishihan/Shihan including:

This event celebrates the start of a new year of training and a chance to renew friendships and grow community. Look for additional special events throughout the year!
DINNER:
Dinner will be held at Sake Bomb restaurant on Saturday night and is not included in the price of registration. If you intend to join us for dinner, please reserve a seat by "purchasing" the free Saturday evening dinner ticket so we can reserve adequate seats at the restaurant in advance.
CRASH SPACE/HOTELS:

How do you want to get there?
Friday Night Training
Round Robin Session: Instructors will start with a technique set by the participants and give their on interpretations and variations. Training will finish with a focus session prior to retiring to the neighborhood taproom for a chance to relax and socialize.
Saturday Morning Training
Focus Sessions: Individual Instruction will lead training for roughly 50 minute sessions.
Saturday Afternoon Training
Focus Sessions: Individual Instructors will lead training for roughly 50 minute sessions.
