Meet the teaching artist:
My name is Ashley Pusey, and I am the founder and head chemical engineer of Moonlight Wicks Candle Co., an eco-luxe brand specializing in premium wooden wick soy candles that transform spaces through the art of aromatherapy. I’m a Brooklyn-born, Guyanese and Jamaican creative, who began candle-making during college as a therapeutic response to seasonal depression.
What started as a personal ritual evolved into a thriving business rooted in self-care, creative expression, and community healing. Through our sought-after Wicks + Wax workshops, I have curated immersive experiences where participants craft their own natural soy wax candles while exploring mindfulness, intention-setting, and a sensory wellness modality.
