About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind. It lives in the body.

Traditional talk therapy often focuses on thoughts and emotions. But trauma imprints deeply into the nervous system—and can’t always be reached through words alone.

SHIFT is a body-led, presence-based practice that supports the natural completion of unprocessed emotional experiences through deep rest, energetic flow, and psycho-somatic attunement.

What to expect:

You’ll lie down on a mat, eyes closed, and be gently guided through a non-verbal inner journey. Specially curated music—ranging from ambient soundscapes and tribal rhythms to acoustic tracks—works in waves to help your nervous system shift from survival states into safety, fluidity, and presence.

This is not a dance or a performance. You’re invited to be still, listen, and feel.

Some participants experience emotional release, subtle movement, deep rest, or a sense of inner spaciousness. Others feel calm, reset, or gain new insights. Every session is unique—there’s no right or wrong way to experience it.

After the session, we’ll gently integrate.

You’ll be invited (but not required) to share what arose, reflect, or simply sit in presence. This integration time helps anchor the experience, so it doesn’t remain unspoken or uncontained.

SHIFT is not therapy—but it can open the door to therapeutic work.

If something arises that feels tender, confusing, or unresolved, I also offer 1:1 psychoanalytic psychotherapy sessions—online or in-person—to help you explore, understand, and process more deeply.

SHIFT and therapy can beautifully complement each other, offering support from body to mind, and back again.
