Shift Happens: First Responders Happy Hour

Come unwind after a long shift at Neon Cactus! Join us for a night of relaxation, good company, and great drinks. This event is exclusively for our hardworking first responders, medical professionals and teachers. Free Drink if you bring a friend.

This isn’t your average happy hour—it’s where service-minded professionals come together to relax, build relationships, and unlock opportunities beyond the uniform or classroom. We all know many of us have a side hustle (or three)—this is your chance to connect with others who are building something, too. And even if you don’t have a side hustle yet, you’re still more than welcome. Come for the good vibes, stay for the real connections.

Spots are limited, so grab yours now and bring a friend who deserves a night out.Because the right room can change your legacy.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this event for?

This event is designed for first responders, medical professionals, and teachers—including firefighters, police officers, EMTs, nurses, and educators. Whether you're actively working or retired, you're welcome here.

Do I need a side hustle to attend?

Not at all. While many of us are building something on the side, this event is open to everyone—whether you're already growing a business, just curious about your options, or simply want to connect with like-minded people.

Is there a cost to attend?

Nope! Admission is free, but space is limited—so RSVP to lock in your spot.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! Feel free to bring a co-worker, partner, or friend who fits the vibe (first responder, medical, or education-related). If you do, you'll get a free drink too!

What should I wear?

It’s a casual, after-hours vibe—wear whatever feels good. If you come in your uniform, we get it!

Legacy Shift Network started with one former ER nurse who realized overtime and another degree wasn’t going to get her out of the rat race. Something needed to change. After years in the emergency room, I saw firsthand how burnout was stealing purpose from some of the most selfless professionals. So I’ve built a community for first responders, medical professionals, and educators who want more: more connection, more opportunity, more impact and a legacy. This is my shift—and now, it can be yours too. Don’t just work a shift—make one.
